Attention Getter: Death is something a lot of people do not like to even think about, but what if tomorrow you were diagnosed with a terminal illness and given a prognosis of only six months to live? I do not know about you, but if I were ever given such a prognosis, I would like to have the option to die with dignity. Thesis Statement: A terminally ill person should have the option to die with dignity—something that is currently only afforded to the terminally ill in five U.S. states via aid in dying laws.
